Steps to take after the test:
Step 1: Please view this short video to help you understand how to read your scores.
Step 2: Sign in to College Board to review your online score report. Your access code in on the front page of your results.
Step 3: Link your College Board and Khan Academy Accounts. Use this to study for the SAT.
Step 4: Check out MyRoad
Students who take the PSAT/NMSQT receive FREE ACCESS to MyRoad until they graduate high school (this is usually a program that costs $20 per year--students who take the PSAT/NMSQT get to use this for free throughout high school).

MyRoad can enable you to:
- On the inside left-hand side of your results, you will see your total score as well as your evidenced-based reading and writing score and your math score.
- Your total score will be on a range between 320-1520 (1520 is the highest you can score).
- Your evidenced-based reading and writing score and your math score are on a range between 160-760 (760 being the highest you can score).
- On the rest of this page, you will see a breakdown of all test scores and subscores.
- If your scores falls in the red range, this is an area where you need to strengthen your skills.
- If your score falls in the yellow, you are in the midrange approaching the benchmark.
- If your score falls in the green, you meet or exceed the benchmark.
- On the inside right-hand side of your results, you will see the National Merit Scholarship Corporation Selection Index. If you qualify for the National Merit Scholarship, you will be notified in September. On this page you will also see Your Scores: Next Steps, use this to improve your skills.
- On the back page of your results, you will see your answer to each question on the PSAT along with the correct response and the difficultly level. Use this to review the questions you missed.
